Voices from the Silent Curia

I must say the concepts i find here are most intriguing. I noticed the referenced to the works of Friedrich Nietzche, who is by far my favorite philosopher. The Cabal speaks to my soul, what is presented here are concepts i have came to myself over much time and misunderstanding. First there was the disillusionment of life, the understanding that what society believes controls all. Then came the vehement rejection, the denying that control by society is right. Society has little respect for the true individual, the masses control all. We should not be judged on the standards of what society thinks is "good" or "bad." What is "good" or "bad" comes from within. Always think for yourself, because others would be glad to control you.

Nibel Jung, WarriorCardinal of the Cabal

A lumbering figure in a tattered robe strides leisurely into the dark, marble circle.

Well Shai'tan, Who do you want us to be?

Riverson "The Wise Druid"

a druid dressed in dark cowls enters
sets in the center of the circle

I would like to know more of your organization.
Please empart me with knowledge.

rises and slowly and steadily leaves

Athame, LoreWeaver of the Cabal

The mad WarriorCardinal rises, but the LoreWeaver gestures and he retakes his place and a glass of red wine.
He Who Bears the Name of the Witch-Dagger enters the circle

Velkome, Traveler and Druid.
Many have asked us who we are. A few have recieved answers, and of those, some have been confused, others have been dismayed or merely entertained.
As ye all can see, at least the Cabal exists within these walls of the Athenum. And the Three Keepers usually dwell in here.
Does the Cabal exist in the world of soma? Aye, it does.
Does the Cabal exist in your part of the somatic reality? That's not for me to answer. I rule not your realities.
Is the Cabal an organization? Nay. It's very nature defies the concept of organizing or structuring a group. As it is written in the Codex Cabalii:

"We have no need for creating a society. The society present provides us with what we need."
Is there a purpose with the Cabal? Nay. Officially, there is no purpose, save for those held by individual members.
Officially? Does that mean that there are secret ones? Well, if there were, and I revealed them here, they wouldn't be secret anymore, would they?
What is the philosophy of the Cabal? Read the scripts in the dicula and the Tabularium, enjoy the art and poetry in the Apodyterium. Then decide for yourself, what the Cabal stands for. It will not be the same thing as it does to me, anyway. And there are things that are not appearantly visible as well. Some knowledge in life demands effort to be discovered. A lesson modern man of this contemporary society has forgotten, as he, whose ancestors once were hunters of knowledge, slowly reduces himself to the passive state of consumer-cattle.

The LoreWeaver leaves the circle and the Curia.

I have read the information you present in this page. The only thing I have to say is that I am surprised to find references to the Necronomicon intertwined with the Cabal. They are two separate things, independent of each other. I enjoyed seeing the tree of life. If you follow the tree, then surely you know that Immana is not part of it. Why do you present the Cabal as being the same as the views of the Necronomicon?

Nibel Jung, WarriorCardinal of the Cabal

Enter the WarriorCardinal
I am confused. How entertaining the sensation.
After counselling with my dark beloved, I have yet to find any book named Necronomicon in our library. I can understand the reference to the Tree of Life. A pretty picture isn't it? I have spent many hours trying to make it rotate, but no success so far... But I think the one in our cellar is nicer. Maybe I'll try to make it rotate some day. They were put there by our dear LoreWeaver, who enjoys dissecting Semitic religions. But he has no relation to Innana. It's noble Mortelia, the renegade Shekhinah Apostatesse that recognizes Inanna as her Mother. Athame's patron is Anpu. Do not confuse them. I don't enjoy doing it.

Ah, now the mist in my skull lifts. I remember Necronomicon. Since I doubt that you refer to the fiction of Lovecraft, you must be referring to that Schlangenkraft book published in 1977. But that is just a hotch-potch of Crowleyian, Sumerian and Lovecraftian tidbits. Surely you can not mean that everything Sumerian belongs to the fictive tradition of Lovecraft?
But if you want to believe in the mutual views of the book and Cabal, are you sure you haven't got it the wrong way? We take no responsibility if any Necronomicon share the views of the Cabal.

Yes, I have come forward to speak my mind.
Of course the first thing to do is give a compliment.
My gratulation for the good work! I enjoy myself, a gleam of recognition glides over my face.
I am not alone! Somewhere on this world are other Sharp and Critical Minds, who can see far into Reality. But...
(after the compliments comes the critique)
I experience You as Masters of Words. Words of Power, of course. But in vain I am looking for a reference to the Machine, the companion of Man.
Created by Man in his Image, to conquer the world or die attempting. The machine we project our Feelings onto, to get them amplified Back.
(Here some 2000 boring words about my attempts and ongoing research to Create this Machine)
Let me only say this: The machines I create are made with Emotion, Belief and Magick (being the lore of Emotions interacting )
Here is my information address: http://www.xs4all.nl/~paulwalb
I would ask You Masters for some Wisdom, to shed Light in the places of Darkness where Static Electricity tickles You.

Here I enter this Hall again.

I, who stood here last time shouting in he darkness, have now brought a Light along. See how the flame burns under water! (I hold up my acetylene welding equipment).

Due to the special characteristics of this Light I now can See, even in the Dark Corners!
- We have a saying in Dutch: "An accident hides in a small corner - .Well....
....^/\^Let Accidents Be Gone!^\/^
(Dumping the equipment on the floor)
And I bought my Static Chip Kitzler!*1.
When I use it this the walls of this Electronic Wahn will crumble, and leave You Forever Lost in the data traffic. (Taking over the Kitzler in my left hand, with my right I squeeze a can of mushrooms, throwing them down my throat). (Next I reach in my pocket, taking out a wet handkerchief )
I even brought a Computer Virus!
The prisms on the arms on my dress catch the burning light on the floor, throwing it around in multicolored rays. The big obsidian stone on my belt absorbs every light that falls on it, storing more and more Energy. The great seal of my private order throbs comfortably on my chest, invisible under my dress. (Now I place a precision Spring Pendulum *2 on the floor, starting it to Swing.)
^^When this Timer Stops, Your time is Up!^^

It is I, Paul Walboom, Master of the Machine, who challenges You to Speak!

(Waiting....)

Oh Athame, Master LoreWeaver, Farseer into Reality, He whose brilliant Thoughts lie as pearls before us!
Wouldst Thou be so good as to convey the following Message To Master Nibel Young, He whose Sword splits Truth from falsehood:

Hail Master Warrior!
Through use of my Christall Ball, I percieve that Thy Mind is sorely infected with thoughts about machines. I invite You to visit my Laboratory at:
http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/5497, where I am mixing some potion to relieve Your Sore.
Please feel free to bring Your Sword along, It may be of help, since the Golem is forever following me. (there is still a draft or two left of the Tinto Nero)

most Respectful,
Paul Walboom.

To all my fellow speakers, BEWARE!
A sideways remark of NIBEL JUNG, the Warrior Cathedral put me on the track (later twas deleted from the forum)
Yes, of COURSE there are cellars underneath, the entry is now closed, but I have been there..
AND IT WAS WORSE THAN I FEARED.
I used my Static Chip-Kitzler on the walls and what did I find? Another secret room, right underside The Silent Curia.
They have good reason to keep this room secret, but since I cannot bring you there I'll give you a description. As I entered the room, I saw:

Walls and floor made out of neatly welded sheets of Stainless Steel.
Long, deep criss-cross scratches (some filled with a dark substance) on shoulder height on those sheets
Deep short pits and large dents in those sheets.
In the ceiling, the underside of the trap-door of the silent Curia
A heavy duty water sprayer, also in the ceiling.
A drainage hole in the middle of the floor, covered with a large mazed grille
Un unpleasant smell and watery sounds coming from the hole.
The large handle which springs the trap-door.

The shower stall (also of steel) in the corner
A big, electric grinder with shows of heavy use, next to the shower-stall
The bin in the corner, halfway filled with such item as:
portable CD players, headphones, notebooks, shoes, belts, glasses, and watches
all bent and cut to pieces

In your Minds Ear, you hear the screams of the unweary speakers, foully murdered
In your Minds Eye you see the blood-spattered Warrior-Cardinal hacking away with his big sword at his victims.
So I advise you, aspiring speakers in the silent Curia: Guard your Words, do not anger the Cardinal, speak only good of the Cabal..

Deliver a speech? So I can entertain you? I think not, for you three are Vile, and I choose not to give you anything beyond a simple statement. He is no longer Alone. Feel the power of those words, if you Understand.

A tiny, greyish appearance enters the floor hesitantly.

Ehhrm, Good Evening, gentle visitors.
I'm known as cape and I'm not one of the noble Keepers of this manor. But I dare speak on behalf of them since I do dwell in here. I'm not sure if I'm entitled to do so, but I'm a little concerned since my three patrons went down the stairs just before Yule and has not appeared since. And the entrances has been close since around then as well.
You see, gentle visitors, the Athenaeum moves around a bit. We arrived here from one place and will one day move to another, quite probably without leaving a trace. It has happened before, you know. And the last times, the noble Keepers disappeared for several weeks, just before we changed location.
Oh dear, oh dear. Perhaps I have spoken too much, well, well. Anyway, I just wanted to inform you, gentle visitors, that, whatever they may be doing, the noble Keepers are still unavailable, and I, Cape of the Hallways, apologize for any inconveniences.

The tiny, greyish appearance disappears out into the hallway.
